The Ministry’s Auckland office is relocating from its old premises on Springs Road in East Tamaki to 9 Ronwood Avenue in Manukau. The new premises officially opened on Thursday 31 August.

Co-locating with partners Te Puni Kōkiri, the new office is in the heart of Manukau. It will be a hub that our Pacific communities, organisations and providers will be able to access with improved ease.

The move has been planned for a long time with the lease of the old premises expiring on 31 July 2017.

The Ministry’s Chief Executive Officer Laulu Mac Leauanae, says Manukau with its many transport links is a perfect place for the Ministry to call home. “This move also reflects our partnership with TPK and our shared programmes to improve outcomes for our respective communities.”

Michelle Hippolite, CEO of Te Puni Kōkiri and Laulu Mac Leauanae unveiled the plague for the opening of the new premises, accompanied with a waiata from Te Whare Kura o Manurewa and Auckland Girls Grammar.

The Ministry’s postal address and telephone number will remain the same.
